In the previous “Original Mode”, there was only 1 save slot, but in ACA 2 NEOGEO, you can now use a total of 5 save slots, including 4 “save slots” and 1 “quick save slot”.
The newly added “Quick Save” and “Quick Load” functions can be assigned to each button, including the directional buttons, allowing you to save and load your game in an instant.

The “rewind” function allows you to rewind the game progress by about 5 seconds, so you can replay sections repeatedly or use it to create quick save points. The “rewind” function can be assigned to any button, including the directional keys.

In the previous “High Score Mode” and “Caravan Mode”, opening the “Options Menu” would stop the game. However, in ACA 2 NEOGEO, opening the “Options Menu” no longer interrupts gameplay, allowing you to check the “manual” and adjust the “button settings” while the game continues in the background.
Furthermore, you can now change the setting to open the “Options Menu” with a long press, reducing the risk of accidentally opening the “Options Menu”.
